Good friends are like diamonds, precious but rare
mood: much better
Thank goodness for friends who don't mind listening to you when you're feeling all emo and angsty and pent up and just need a listening ear to vent and rant and rage and essentially just bitch about a million and one things.
T, I really appreciate it! *smooches* (I think you can tell how grateful I am by how uncharacteristically mushy I'm being. :p) [Karma: -5 (+/-)][link] [3 Comments]

I wonder why I bother feeling let down when I knew this would happen anyway.
mood: droopy
It's sad, but I've come to realise that I often don't bother bringing up certain suggestions to my parents, even if it's something really important to me or something that I'm really hoping I can do, because I know they'll disagree with them. To the extent that I've somewhat developed a defeatist attitude aka "Don't bother asking because it's not going to happen."
DYDCT, if you're reading this, this is why I've always seemed so lackluster about a trip to Oz. Not because I don't want to go but because I know the likelihood of it happening is really low. [Karma: 0 (+/-)][link] [44 Comments]
