Unexpected Windfall #2
music: Koya Ruten - Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto OP
mood: 0_o (in a good way)

So my housemates and I decided to order food from Sainsbury's since we have a voucher that gives us 6pds off a minimum 30pd order, and since delivery charge is 5pds, that'll in effect make our delivery free (and then more). And then we manage to end up ordering almost 140pds worth of food between the four of us. 0_o Yes, that's right, ONE HUNDRED AND FOURTY FRICKIN' POUNDS. Though since I had practically next to no food left at all (or more like I HAD no food left at all), it wasn't actually that surprising for me to order so much, especially since a lot of stuff I ordered was also the dry kind of stuff that you can store and that I wouldn't be eating straight away. So it was more along the lines of me simply ordering about one and a half to two weeks worth of food.

But anyway, I digress. That's not the amazing part, nor is it the reason why I posting this entry.

When we placed the order, two of my housemates decided to order two boxes of turkey each, so that would be four boxes in total, right? But guess how many boxes Sainsbury's ended up sending?

... 11.

That's right, ELEVEN boxes of turkey. That's 7 boxes more than ordered. 0_o Isn't that incredibly insane!? In a good way (for us), of course. But still. 0_o x 976752387521461983

This is especially amusing since we tried delivery-ordering from Asda before, but got annoyed and decided to stop since they kept messing up and not delivering a lot of the stuff we ordered. So this Sainsbury's thing is another instance in which our order got altered, but this time in a good way.

If only Sainsbury's could make mistakes like this all the time. :p
