anyway, continuation of yday's celebration.. we bought cakes and went to find the others.. and as usual, waited for a long long time for them. -_- in the 36 hours (in total) that my bday celebration lasted, i think i spent abt 4hrs waiting for them. -_- GEEZ. that's like 11% of my time -_-
so anyway, they sang me a bday song again! =D yay! feel so loved =D then went to play dota again.. heh heh heh =D

and today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i had a very wonderful suprise! =D had a bouquet of flowers delivered (technically, it wasn't to me, cos it was was addressed to "bimbo ow" -_-).. and i was really really suprised! THANK YOU DYDC! the flowers are really pretty (even though i say i don't really like flowers as a whole, which girl wouldn't appreciate receiving them?) and it's a really big bouquet!!!! will keep them till they disintegrate into powder =D
as of now, i've got 11 smses and 8 verbal bday wishes =D (and some from strangers at wild oats -_-)
i had alot of fun last night! it kinda makes up for the fact that i can't go out and play today =(
had dinner at wild rocket *-* sadly the ribeye wasn't as good and the squid ink pasta was normal.. =( had red wine complimentary from sam.. which made us quite -_- i really have no red wine tolerance.. dessert was good as usual (thank goodness!) then it was over to wild oats for the long-awaited lambrini! =D it was good, but more alcohol........... haha! waited for the others to come, and in the meantime, talked to sam, the bartenders etc.. =D had the shooter version of the strawberry cheesecake thanks to sam again, then.. had 6 guys sing me a bday song! woot~ =D proceeded to cine to eat and waste alot of time while some of them played at the arcade -_- since there weren't movies to watch (and they didn't want to watch 300 again =( ) we went to lan.. and after more pointless waiting around for there to be space (90cents an hour! unbelievable!!), we went to katong to play instead.. hmmm. how should i say? i think i've improved abit.. buit still no kills yet =( oh well one will learn slowly =D
other than the long wait at cine, it was alot of fun =D joking and phototaking.. they were good company (though no one beats dydct!) i actually woke up feeling like getting drunk (as in the high-drunk not the passout-drunk) to commemorate my 21st, but well.. that wasn't a bad way to spend the night! =D

i have a love-hate relationship with glen duncan. his writing is too abstract and his writing deliberately confusing, dead-knotted and wound around itself. but still, modern writing without the prententious language and the weird grammar (misplaced punctuation, 4 word sentences and un-sentence-cased sentences, a la ali smith). one gets used to the unnecessarily difficult words along the way, i suppose. anyway, his books have good (if not frustratingly not happily-ever-after) endings..
i do have to say though, yj, he really is too.. erm. explicitly descriptive. i thought i, lucifer was bad, but.. weathercock is much much worse.

feeling generally sian (this is what reading does to me.. esp glen duncan. i feel too much for characters dammit) and melancholic.. stupid dominic hood's affecting my mood =( feels as if my life is spinning out of control. or more like it has already spun out of control without me noticing, and now it feels as if it's too late to do anything to salvage the situation. even if i try, it's never enough..

OMG i really really love it! ok all the nude shots were unnecessary (and a waste of screen time that could've been used on the fighting instead, if u ask me -_-), but the fighting was really really really good =D reminds me of bernard cornwall's warlord chronicles.. i really love that series *-* at least war is more real.
and yes even though i don't like RIPPLING muscles, but i have to say that the men were all very hot =D
i sleep and wake at all times of the day that my body's pretty wonked up -_- thanks to the late night mahjonging, supper, dota, poker, drinks and whatnot the past few weeks.. and the last min studying once in a while haha =D

ok i'm a lousy fangirl cos i can never keep up to date abt my fave singers/groups.. one classic example: i love lifehouse but i don't even know how many pple there are in the band, much less their names. heh this shows i go for songs, not for the people. =DDDDDD (xiao zhu is different heh heh heh) but ANYWAY, good charlotte *-* and cos they're under epic, it means that i can see their mtvs online! i've rediscovered the predictable mtv (i remember being bored out of my mind at home after the a's, and watching mtv everyday.. that's how i rediscovered GC =D) it's really really cute =D (and of cos, they look so cute in the mtv =D)
