[ heavy shopping bags =D ]
went shopping with yj.. blew tons of money! =D we went crazy at taka's stationery section, and bought tons of letter sets.. we shared some of them, and we're gonna exchange some (since i've got zillions lying around in my room) they're so pretty!! if i'm not feeling too lazy, i'll take some pics and put them up =D that was abt 20bucks..
then we went on to watsons.. and spent alot.. partially cos we were trying to spend $80 to get a further discount =D bought some toiletries.. luckily half the stuff i bought were for my mum, so she paid me back =D but spent abt.. 30 bucks there..
then we went on to borders.. yj had 30% off! but unfortunately i had nothing i wanted to buy, cos borders' range is quite.. bleah... they didn't even have orange girl in paperback, nor haruki murakami =( browsed alot of children books and picture books there.. =D
cos yj was feeling hungry after checking out the cookbooks -_-'', we thought we'd share the borders brownie w ice cream.. how disappointing!!! =( they changed management, so no more mahjong paper to scrawl on.. and no more nice brownies nor nachos! they totally changed the menu, so it's more restaurant than bistro =( we had a nutella pie w ice cream.. at least the ice cream was good, but nothing fantastic.. ='( i'm so sad! our hangout!!! =(
oh and i bought a pair of sunglasses from mango.. it's pretty cool =D now if only i can start wearing contacts again.. -_-

[ why you should take public transport ]
seriously, u get to hear the most amusing things and see the weirdest people..
anyway, i took a bus home just now, and typical at this time, the bus is always crowded, so the bus drivers usually pass the bus stop that i'm waiting at without stopping (i know, sucks right -_-) so finally, this really nice driver stopped for all the pple at the diff bus stops.. of cos, all the ppl were super pissed off from waiting for more than half hr (and watching the buses zoom past -_-) this really laughable malay kid (ok he's prob 15 or 16) wearing super poser clothes and that really irritating white thick frame specs and speaking like he had pebbles in his mouth came up the bus.. and started complaining to his fren on the phone abt the sbs service (or the lack of it), how he wanted to burn the buses -_- abt how he would complain abt the buses, and the funniest thing (And i quote): "i don't care! i'm gonna BLOG ABOUT IT! then EVERYBODY will see! surely one la, everybody from 4/2 will go read. -cue self-satisfying, 'omg-i'm-so-smart' laugh)".. it's so amusing how myopic he is =D
wellll.. hope i don't get flamed for saying all that =D

guai4 as in weird -_-).. my mum ordered me to pack my room, and i did. to tidy up all my shoes that i left lying around, and i did. and told me to come back at 11plus, and i did! how amazing is that. i'm losing my rebellious streak =D and when i reached home, i spent half an hour chatting with my mum abt my brother and other stuff. then i went to the living room and talked to my dad. wow. now only for my brother.. -_- but i think unless i'm a character in dota, i don't think he'll even register my presence. heh -_-
was actually talking to my dad abt travelling plans.. wanted to check out the price of the air ticket to japan.. alas, it's much more expensive than hk.. so i guess it's hk next yr? (yes, i was hoping to convince u guys to go japan instead =D heh) he said it's $700+ for 5-night trip to hk, incld a tour to shenzhen and hotel stay and airport transfer.. on cathay. hmm not bad. and it's free and easy =D time to save up!! and then i told him abt going to disneyland etc.. quite fun =D hopefully we'll accomplish that!

[ pirates! ]
went to watch potc part II with yj, cheryl and gordon.. the most amazing thing to note is that we actually spent 2.5 hours at billy bombers (at heeren), doing cheryl's bracelet/armlet -_-'' but it was fun kind-of-dressing up to the pirates theme.. and i like my bracelet! it says marooned, only because the other words i wanted were all missing letters (yj's beads doesn't have very many 'y's or 'r's -_-) anyway, the pics are below! (it shall be a photo post cos i'm too lazy to write =D) oh btw the movie is SO HILARIOUS! there's johnny depp in it, so i think both part I and II are equally good.. =D can't wait for part III!
ok gotta go bring eric to the hospital again.. =D

[ i'm finally free!! ]
yes!!! my last day of work was yday!! so now i'm officially free! =D (though.. i did offer my help for free cos they haven't got a replacement for me yet.. =D i owe them quite a few hours of work anyway =) it was quite sad to leave though.. have been used to working there, seeing my messy table, seeing all my frens at work, making fun of them, joking around.. =( it's an unforgettable experience, for good or for bad.. but anyway, yay! my bosses and some bankers were v nice... and they offered to get me an internship or a job whenever i need, either at citi or at their clients' companies =D so it's quite worth the 11 months of slogging (i'm only 2.5 weeks away from a year there =) got a huge bouquet of flowers and a doggie soft toy from the secretaries + admin team, and other stuff from some of my colleagues =D but well, i'm gonna enjoy the next 2.5 weeks of slacking and spending time with yj and cheryl (studying, of all things -_- from one kind of work to another -_-) i've gotta do loads of sch stuff in between too..like take care of eric..
talking abt that.. my poor darling's totally crippled himself!! he's been on crutches for .. almost 3 weeks? yeah cos his left knee ligament's totally snapped (i think).. -_- so no hope of walking anytime soon =(
oh and! see cheryl i did listen to ur nagging that time and try to less of a..health liability to s'pore? whatever it is=pp i decided to go see a doctor my my stupid left eye that couldn't seem to decide whether it was ok or not - it would turn super red when i wear contacts, but go off after abt 4 days.. and the cycle repeats everytime i wear contacts again.. the gp said it was cornea abrasion leading to conjunctivities (doesn't seem to make sense to me.. i thought they were two diff things -_-) but whatever it is, she said that there weren't any cuts and it should go away by max a week after using the 2 eye drops she gave me.. but. everytime i put the eyedrops in my eye would hurt MORE and turn red. -_- and it would be less red when i don't use the eyedrops -_- weird right? anyway, i got her to refer me to an eye specialist (see cheryl! i'm getting better at it!! =DDD).. will go on monday =) i'm so worried abt my eye.. it's SUPER painful and it feels like there's something in it.. not sure if it's a contacts shard (yes my contacts broke in my left eye and i dunno whether i got all of the shards out -_-) i don;t wanna go blind!! =( for my eyes i don't mind spending the money =D of cos, it's also cos i hope it'll recover soon.. then can wear contacts and go clubbing!! (i'm vain, and i know it =)
oh and as for the japan trip post.. hehehe i can't seem to upload the pics online.. so i shall wait till i resolve that prob before i blog k? =D
