+ hostel (part 1 ...? =)
hey guys! i've finally
(kinda heh) moved into my room! must write to me k! i'll be lonely in here =pp i'll give u guys the snail mail add soon =D
haven't seen my roomie yet.. i kinda suspect that i don't have a roomie, but i'm not sure.. wonder whether it's a good or bad thing then? heard from my neighbour (who's shifting to another hall today sigh) that alot of pple are moving out on my floor.. and that she had the whole double room to herself last yr cos her roomie didn't come in till much later.. maybe there aren't that many pple who are willing to pay the higher rental etc?
my room's really quite nice! from the outside it looks like a condo, and well, i guess it's pretty big! and nice and clean and new yay =D had quite a bit of problem with the internet connection.. and spent 12mins on my hp with the tech troubleshooter -_- my phone bill....... thanks to my mum and dad, i moved most of my stuff and cleaned up my room really quickly yday =D thankfully i followed their advice to "bring your maid if you have one, otherwise, bring your mum along" =D but there are so much more things to bring in! i've already brought in.. i think 8 big bags of stuff (cos i brought in all my econs and math notes.. and food =D and even mineral water, thanks to my mum -_-) have yet to bring in the MOST IMPORTANT STUFF...................... my shoes and bags.. haha!!!
tried to walk from my room to the audi for freshman welcome just now... my god. i was totally lost and walked up and down the same road 3 times -_- and there are no bus stops near my hall.. shit! anyway i'm not really far enough to take a bus to the admin or sch blocks, but not really near enough so that it's just a run away when it rains =D but i'm thankful, cos my cousin's staying at hall 11, which is REALLY REALLY far away =pp will put up pics of my room soon! oh and i tested today, i can cover the dist from home to sch (aka room to nbs blocks) on heels! yay! =D
really hope to make frens.. and i really really really really really really really hope someone comes and enlightens me on the whole GER-PE (prescribed electives), GER-UE (unrestricted electives) and minors soon.. i have no idea what's going on.. or maybe i should just register for my minor modules next sem? .. should i minor in math? cos it means.. that i'll have school on mondays!!!!!!
aiya shall see how. have spent the past 1.5 hours trying to figure out this whole thing. all i got in the end was a headache. sigh.
