+ back on my lazy ass =)
ok guys i'm back... as u all know =) and i'm a lazy ass, so i can't be bothered to do anything abt being back heh =) but since all of my fans are waiting expectantly for something abt my trip, i shall comply =) amidst all the rubbish swamping my room: jap mags, cosmo girl, seventeen, houshin engi manga strewn all over the floor, clothes i wore the past 3 days evicted from my chair and redeposited on my bed, uni letters, bags, money, books, makeup cluttering my table.. what a nice lovely lived-in feeling =D heh and a sharp contrast from my hotel rooms, kept in neat order with my iron fist (at shared areas like the toilet and tv table), nicely packed luggage(s) =pp okok enough of my attempt to be less boring. u know how a messy room looks, cos u guys have them too =)
anyway, hawaii first.
I LOVE HAWAII!!!!! i love the weather there.. it's similar to s'pore, but not so warm.. the sun's bright and all, but it's not humid, so the heat doesn't close in on u, and you don't feel all sticky and sweaty. the breeze is V cooling, so if u stand in the shade and the breeze drifts past, it might feel pretty cold =) anyway, not sure if u guys knew why i went hawaii.. it was somewhat like a missionary trip, for the hawaii lantern floating event.. can read abt it
here. i made ALOT of friends, youths from all over the world, esp USA youths. most of them are youths in the religion, but there were a few native hawaiians that i befriended too.. it was amazing! went to pearl harbor, and to ala moana beach.. we stayed in waikiki, just like 3 mins away from the beach! the beach was beautiful.. even from the plane, the water looked gorgeous.. u can really see the light blue, dark blue and green shades of the water representing different depths of the water.. and all along i thought was only in rpgs like ff7! didn't really have the chance to go into the water cos of my period and also cos was pretty busy attending workshops and stuff.. heard that the human scenary on the beach was like baywatch.. my frens went down to the beach on the first day while i stayed in the room sleeping cos i was sick.. and the shopping there! on the last day, we went shopping.. spring sale now, so some place had 30-40% discounts.. even at boutiques like coach, tod's and bally.. my frens are working adults, so they wanted to buy all the branded goods.. and so we went into ALL the boutiques. chanel, LV, prada, gucci, etc etc, u name it. almost died -_- imagine us, in shorts, t shirt and slippers, walking into all those places.. and my frens bought stuff =) some stuff were pretty worth it, i admit.. was so tempted to buy guess clothes, they were so cheap (in comparison)! this skirt was really nice, at abt S$50.. but it was DAMN short! it was shorter than most of cheryl's skirts.. can u imagine?! would have bought it if it wasn't made of the kind of material that flies up REALLY easily.. and other stuff la.. some stuff got me thinking v hard if i really wanted it.. but then i felt bad, cos i'm not working yet, so how can i spend like hundreds on some branded good?! anyway, i bought mostly just macademia nuts, some mags, a top for myself and one for eric.. and that's abt it.. oh yeah and some stuff from claire's =D i love claire's! anyway, hawaiian food is DAMN SALTY. maybe it's the american thing, but goodness. so salty!!!!! couldn't really take it.
then to japan.. spent abt 2 days with my frens and mum, mostly doing temple stuff.. then went off with my mum to meet my dad.. didn't really spend much too, cos the stuff there is DAMN EX! everything started from like 5000yen, which is abt 80 bucks. no way would i pay 80bucks for a tshirt! -_- and the transportation there is a silent killer man.. taking a train is at least 2bucks, and most of the time it's much much more -_- after awhile, shopping is boring la, no point looking at $100+ clothes =pp and super tiring too.. loved the hotel, cos it had a massage chair in the room! =D only thing of note: i went for this hot spa thing.. woohoo it was really hot man! all the water massage things underwater, pretty relaxing.. though my blood pressure's abit low, so i got dizzy pretty soon.. the amazing thing was that i actually dared to go there, cos it's a public thing, so everyone strips naked.. yeah imagine being naked from the lockers to the showers to the pools to the sauna room and back to the lockers for your clothes. but well it was fun.. and different =) and jap food gets abit boring after awhile.. esp since erwin reminds me of prata and roti john and all s'porean food.. not sure why i got sick of jap food though,.. maybe cos i was away from s'pore for a longer time this time?
am glad to be back in s'pore though.. missed him =D
anyway, all u homicidal pple, pls take care, i don't really want to wake up one day and find out that u've murdered someone.. -_- life away is not easy, but well.. there's only one way, which is to bear with it.. and diana, don't stress so much k!! =D
